Call of Prayers

One of my passion is to document images depicting religion. Religions really add beauty to the world. Talk about any religion, followers have beautiful religious monuments. Pakistan is Muslim country with beautiful Mughal architecture all around. Beauty and immense size of mosques simply shows trend of people for there religion.

Here is my recent picture shot early in the morning at marvel of Mughal period "Badshahi Mosque" or King's mosque. It is now 5th largest mosque in the world. Built with red rock known for it's magical glow.

Reaching Gurdwara Punja Sahab Hasanabdal

Hasanabdal around 60 km away from Islamabad is popular for it's Gurdwara Punja Sahab that is holy place of Sikhism. Reaching it is very easy even on local transport. The building of Gurdwara is treat for eyes ! it is excellent piece of architecture. Unfortunatly they didn't allow me to take a single picture of the building because of security concerns. I was annoyed at that because a lot images are available online but still management of Gurdwara that is appointed by government don't allowed me to take a single picture rather they appointed a person to follow me to make sure i don't take a photo !

My major interest was to take high quality images of Gurdwara and to put online so people can enjoy more and more while sitting far away from Pakistan. Anyway i ended up shooting around the city.
